Meet Ethan

Ethan Gordon blends the showmanship of a seasoned magician with the technical eye of a trained videographer. His first encounter with magic was a small trick he received from a toy capsule machine as a child. This began a fascination with the craft that led him to begin serious study over 20 years ago. In his teens, he attended multiple years of Tannen’s Magic Camp, a powerhouse institution for young magicians. Simultaneously, he began performing close-up and parlor magic, captivating private parties and events with polished sleight of hand and natural audience rapport.

After focusing intensely on magic in high school, Ethan decided to pursue his other main interest, videography, during college. He completed a degree in Digital Media Production and Communications from Tulane University, and focused his career on working behind the camera. His years in video sharpened his sense of timing, composition, and pacing—skills that deepened his creative approach to performance.

Now returning his focus to magic, Ethan combines cinematic staging and multimedia design with intimate, astonishing sleight of hand. His shows range from strolling close-up sets that engage guests one-on-one to parlor performances that use group dynamics and clever storytelling to heighten mystery. Whether performing for weddings, corporate events, or private gatherings, Ethan delivers memorable moments crafted with a filmmaker’s precision and a magician’s logic.
